Tuakana Teina time with room 5

This week we had buddy time in the library. Our buddies from room 5 helped us to read and decorate a poem about a robot. Here are some photos of the work we did with our buddy 

                                                   

Calendar art

We were lucky enough to go to the art room! We made some trees using, chalk pastels, pastels and paint. 

 We made a picture. We used paint and crayons- Lio 

 We made the leaves on the trees with jovis and paint. The leaves were dark green, white and gold- Nitika 

 We made a tree. We made the leaves with the paint- Ana 

I like doing art because you learn new things- Lianne 

They look AMAZING and you can buy them and make them into calendars, diaries or cards. 

Diwali festival.

Last week was Diwali and room 9 and 10 made a display with some Rangoli patterns. They looked amazing!

Building a sandcastle- Michael and Wesley

Micheal and Wesley built a hole tunnel. They dug right to the bottom of the sandpit. They worked together as a team because they are friends.
