Pow Words

We are learning to use Pow Words in our writing. Pow words make our writing more interesting. Today we wrote about storms because our big book is about a storm.  Here is some of our work.

The storm is wet. The storm is scary. I don't like the storm. I wasn't too scared because I had my teddy bear. - Jeremy


The storm is frightening. The storm is blue. I see a storm and the storm is cool. The storm is wet and the storm is hot. I hear the storm. - Moana

I heard the storm. The storm is cool because it's scary and the storm was scary. Boooom! THe thunder is scary. - Talyn

Today we wrote about Ronald Mc Donald coming into our school, we were focusing on using our word cards and sounding out the letters all on our own for words that weren't on there...
