Whanaungatanga Circle Painting

For Inquiry this term we are learning about our school values - Manaakitanga, Tukumarie, Rangimarie, Whanaungatanga and Ako.

We are learning about Whanaungatanga and this week we made circle paintings. We had a colour each and we all started by painting a circle. Then we went around and added a little bit to someone's circle and kept doing this until we had all worked together to create four beautiful paintings.

Triangle group- Maths session

Today in maths we were learning to count on from the biggest number. We have gotten really good at saying the number that comes after,  so today we practised counting on from the biggest number. This pictures shows that we know which number is the biggest.

Today we even added two numbers together by counting on from the biggest
number. Miss Nua thinks we are pretty clever!
